ON BROADWAY

On Broadway Celebration.png
We had SUCH an amazing time at our On Broadway Gala!  It was sad to see the night end with so many people enjoying the food, dancing and friends!  We are so grateful to all of our loved ones who came to support us once again.  You are the reason we are able to continue improving lives, one person at a time!  We are so thankful to our corporate sponsors who helped us have a successful event.  Our food sponsors, PURE and McGriff Insurance Services were so generous to help us this year.  Southeastern Fishing Tackle and Water Genius continue to support us through donations and raffle items year after year.  They are instrumental in our success!
A special thank you to Three Brothers for the delicious food!  DJ Dean once again volunteered his services and had us dancing into the night!  And we must truly thank Diego with Vector Media Productions.  He always goes above and beyond to capture our events and create beautiful, heartwarming videos to share with you all.  These individuals, who give of themselves each and every year are shining lights in a world that can sometimes seem so dark.  We would not be who we are today without them!
We are excited to announce that with your support during our raffles and auctions, as well as the help of some wonderful local businesses, we raised just over $18,000!  This will help us continue our mission of serving our clinics, raising awareness for Mitochondrial Disease and helping the local community in the coming year!

Our son Giovanni turned 13 this year.  While we were planning a big birthday party for him, he decided that he would rather us focus our efforts on another fundraiser for the FOOT Foundation.  Now that he has been to Guatemala, he truly sees the impact we make on others.  Thank you Giovanni for your big heart and beautiful spirit!

It is almost impossible to believe that the FOOT Foundation is celebrating 10 years of Improving Lives, One Person at a Time.  We were grateful to have so many wonderful people join us for this special celebration!   A delicious dinner and dessert was provided by Three Brothers.  We had wonderful music all night by DJ Dean and Vaid who got the crowd dancing until the last song.  Diego with Vector Media Productions donated his time yet again to capture the evening on video.  We are thankful to everyone who helped us with the event, including all of those wonderful local businesses who donated to our raffles and auctions.  We raised just over $15,000, which will allow us to continue our mission for an 11th year!  Please click on the photo above to see a slideshow of this terrific event.  Our son Giovanni worked hard to capture memories of this milestone evening.

What a wonderful wonderful evening of fun!  A delicious dinner, great music and dancing, lots of raffles and the support of our family and friends.  We are so thankful to everyone who helped us with the event and with collecting donations for raffles and auctions).  With the help of the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, who matched $10,000 of our funds raised, we are now able to start a second clinic in Antigua, Guatemala.  This will allow us to improve even more lives, one person at a time!  Please click on the photo above to see a slideshow of this terrific event.  A special thank you to our 10 year-old son, Giovanni, for working so hard as our photographer for the evening.  His hard work helped us capture some wonderful memories!

ST. TIMOTHY'S EARLY LEARNING PRE-SCHOOL SOCK DRIVE

St. Timothy's Early Learning Preschool in Lutz, Florida collected YOUTH tube socks (knee high) for the FOOT FOUNDATION during Catholic Schools Week, January 31 through February 6, 2016.  We often take for granted the simple things we do every day.  Imagine living in a world where socks are a luxury.  For children who need orthotics, socks are essential.  But, in countries like Guatemala, families simply cannot afford even a single pair.  The smiles on the kid's faces when they receive new socks is priceless!  If you would like to donate, please send in a package of new youth/kids tube socks of any size. We are traveling to Guatemela in June, 2016 so anytime before that would be greatly welcomed and appreciated!

We are so thankful to St. Timothy's for hosting this Sock Drive.  This small but powerful preschool collected 220 PAIRS OF TUBE SOCKS for the FOOT Foundation!!  We couldn't be more thankful or moved by this gesture.  Our oldest son Giovanni graduated from this program in 2011 and our younger son Gianluca will be graduating in May, 2016.  We have been very grateful to be a part of such a special program.

The FOOT Foundation put together a Mitochondrial Awareness 5K Team and laced up their sneakers to kick off Mitochondrial Awareness Week.  On September 14, 2013, they walked to kick off Global Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week.  We are so grateful for our many friends who joined us to make this a successful event.  We walked to raise awareness and to honor my son, Gianluca, who was diagnosed with Progressive Mitochondrial Disease in August, 2012.  Please  click on the picture below to see photos of this event!
